Madison Alexander

Associate Attorney

 

Madison Alexander joined Swilling Family Law Firm, LLC in 2022 after receiving her Juris Doctor from Mercer University School of Law in May of 2022. After earning Bachelor’s Degrees in Sociology and Women’s Studies from the University of Georgia, Madison worked for a Special Assistant to the Attorney General (SAAG) representing the Department of Family and Children Services in child dependency actions.

During her time at Mercer School of Law, Madison was a member of the Association of Women Law Students, Mercer Trial Lawyers Association, and was a student member of the William A. Bootle Inn of Court. She interned at Middle Georgia Access to Justice Council, providing pro bono legal assistance to low-income clients. During her third year of law school, she clerked for the Honorable Philip T. Raymond, III, in the Superior Court of Bibb County, focusing solely on family and domestic issues.

While attending Mercer School of Law, Madison was an Oxford Human Rights Scholar and Equal Access to Justice Scholar. As an Oxford Scholar, she attended the Oxford Consortium for Human Rights at the University of Oxford during her third year of law school. Through these experiences, Madison developed and strengthened her passion for helping children and families during difficult times.

Outside of the office, Madison enjoys trying new restaurants, going to concerts, and spending time with her family, friends, and her two cats, Charlie and Dude.
