Julie Orlansky

Associate Attorney

Julie Orlansky is a dedicated family law attorney who brings a thoughtful, client-centered approach to helping individuals and families navigate complex legal matters. She is committed to guiding her clients with clarity, compassion, and practical solutions.

Julie earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, where she double majored in Criminal Justice and Psychology. During her time there, she developed a strong interest in law. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law in 2018, where she participated in a year-long clinic with the Capital Defender’s Office, researching and analyzing high-profile criminal cases throughout Georgia and completed internships with the Federal Defender Program and a local family law firm.

Following law school, Julie served as an Assistant Public Defender in Athens, Georgia where she gained extensive courtroom and negotiation experience, advocating for clients and developing the litigation skills that continue to benefit her family law practice today.

In 2020, Julie transitioned to family law and has since built a strong foundation representing clients throughout the Metro Atlanta area. She has experience working within established law firm environments as well as serving as a contract attorney, collaborating with attorneys and handling diverse family law matters.

As a child of divorce herself, Julie has a personal understanding of the practical impact family transitions can have on children and parents. Julie approaches each case with the goal of helping clients make informed decisions while minimizing conflict whenever possible. She takes the time to walk clients through the strengths and potential challenges of their case and works to develop creative, effective resolutions tailored to their unique circumstances.

Outside of her practice, Julie loves exploring Atlanta with her husband Todd and their son, Lincoln. She also enjoys spending time with her dog, Winnie, and cat, Alizah, and working on little projects like crochet in her spare time.
